Attorney General Humphrey received his B.A. in political science from American University in 1965 and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1969. Prior to serving as Attorney General, he represented Minnesota’s 44th Senatorial District from 1972-82 and was Chairman of the State Senate Energy and Housing Committee and Legislative Commission on Energy.
