A wrongful conviction

Is usually on purpose

A wrongful conviction

Never helps, but only

Worsens

The Condition of a person,

Or a people for that matter.

A wrongful conviction mistreats

Both parties involved.

They both receive an injustice,

At the dropping of several

Balls.

Some have died

While under the guise

Of injustice lies

Some just chose to move on,

And try to repair their

Broken Lives:

With the help of one

Dedicated heart

Several lives have

Been restored

But the saddening

And hurtful part

Is that more are

Still being stored

And I’m one of ‘em.
