Dara Gell is the Director of Intake and Evaluation at the Innocence Project, after serving as the
organization’s Investigations Attorney and Supervisor for Intake Partnerships and Training. She was previously a Senior Staff Attorney with Pregnancy Justice, where she litigated criminal and civil cases on behalf of people criminalized for their pregnancies and pregnancy outcomes, including pregnancy loss. Dara began her career as an immigration defense attorney in New York City. Dara holds a B.A. from State University of New York at Geneseo, and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School.
