Senior Counsel and Director, Law and Policy Project, Lambda Legal. Before rejoining Lambda Legal to found and direct the Law and Policy Project, Pizer was Legal Director and the Arnold D. Kassoy Senior Scholar of Law at the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law from 2011-2012, and before that was Director of Lambda Legal’s National Marriage Project. She has served as co-counsel for plaintiffs in multiple marriage cases and other cases to advance legal protections for same-sex couples and their families. She also was co-counsel on three amicus briefs supporting plaintiffs in the Perry litigation.
