Janet Bond Arterton received a B.A. in Political Science from M. Holyoke College in 1966 and a J.D. from Northeastern University in 1977. She was a law clerk for the U.S. District Court for New Jersey (the Honorable Herbert J. Stem). Ms. Arterton is a partner in the firm of Garrison, Kahn, Crane & Silbert where she has practiced since 1978. She is a frequent author and lecturer in the field of employment and labor relations.
